Remember to use capitalization when it is necessary, but do not capitalize random words for effect. Also keep in mind that capitalization can change the meaning of some words—turkey (the bird) and Turkey (the country), for instance—and it is vital that readers grasp your intended meaning. When in doubt about whether to capitalize a word, check with a reputable dictionary, encyclopedia, or style guide.
