Operations Summary:
The Berkeley Pit and Discharge Pilot Project (Pilot Project) Discharge System Polishing Facility did not discharge off-site from August 1 through August 31, 2024, and was only operated for maintenance activities during this reporting period. On July 10, the Polishing Facility off-site discharge was suspended in response to increasing water temperatures and the upcoming weather forecast. The off-site discharge suspension continued through the August reporting period. The Polishing Facility continued to operate with all flows directed off-spec to Montana Resources’ dredge pond during the reporting period. RO Reject includes flows that were produced during routine permeate flushes, this RO Reject was discharged directly to the Berkeley Pit.
