Abstract
Rapid developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) change our lives in many ways. AI creates both excitement and anxiety about the future. What jobs will humans be left with? What things do we need to learn today to benefit us in the future? In this seminar, we will contrast different elements of AI with humans and ponder hard questions about the future.

Prof. Liang joined the University of the District of Columbia in 2004, after receiving her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her research areas include artificial intelligence, digital image processing, data mining, and bioinformatics. She is a fellow of the Center for the Advancement of STEM Leadership (CASL).
