Abstract
Reclamation in high elevation, arid environments is quite difficult, however, when it is also combined with steep slopes it becomes a greater challenge. Jerry Muething will demonstrate the practices that Barrick Golden Sunlight uses to cope these circumstances on the other side of the Continental Divide.

Jerry Muething is a Senior Environmental Engineer at Barrick’s Golden Sunlight Mine near Whitehall, MT. Jerry graduated from the University of Nevada with a B.S. in Biology; and has 15 years of environmental compliance & permitting experience in the mining and oil/gas industries.
