Abstract

Peter Lesica will talk about possible ways of restoring crested wheatgrass dominated grasslands into more biologically diverse native steppes. During their research Peter and his colleague identified several native species that commonly occurred in crested wheatgrass fields. Such species may be used for restoration and design seed mixes that will provide candidates capable of coexisting with crested wheatgrass.
