FEMA EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE:

2011-2012 Served two deployments covering 4 ½ months in New York State in part as NDRS Recovery Mission Support Specialist (NMSP) and as RSCL

2011 Served a 6-week deployment in Alabama as NMSP

2010 Served a 6-week deployment in Tennessee as RSCL and as then an acting Branch Director

2009 Served a 3-month deployment in Texas as NMSP; also supervised 10 Americorps personnel assigned to this DR for a 6-week period

2008 Served a 6-week deployment in Wisconsin as NMSP

2005 Served a one-month deployment in Florida at FEMA’s Recovery Center (from the 2004 hurricanes) in the Community Relations Program as a Reports Tech and Admin Liaison

2004 Served first ever deployment for FEMA for 3 months in Alabama (DR ) in the Community Relations Program as Field Officer/Finance Manager in assisting CR personnel with timesheets and voucher worksheets, distributing cash advances, assisting in the billeting process, and managing/reconciling the CR “supercard” for the new DAEs.
