Abstract
This study is an attempt to define criteria for picking the Charles-Mission Canyon contact from well-cuttings logs, electric logs and radio-active logs; and all findings are discussed, whether positive or negative. Correlation by electric log was successful from the Cut Bank area to the Cedar Creek anticline but sample logs from the same wells do not agree. The conclusions reached is the point to the unreliability of the sample logs based on well-outtings data.
