Abstract
All of the information on the various districts has come directly from published reports. The investigation was suggested by Mr. Forbes Robertson. The geographical extent of the deposits was confined to the western United States. Many of these deposits are of the disseminated porphyry type. A few of the deposits, such as at Butte, Montana, were of the fissure vein type.
