GOLD CREEK MINING CO. Pioneer District. Powell County. Minerals Yearbook 1934. Sta. App. Page 404. A new 6,500 cubic yard electric driven dredge was installed at the Pioneer property during the summer of 1933 and was placed in operation by the Yuba Associated Engineers, Ltd., November 27. Nearly 134,000 cubic yards of gravel had been treated by the end of the year and the property was the largest producer in the Pioneer district.
